Here at StMaries.org, we will try to help bring attention to the needs of those who have been affected by un-expected life changing events. When this occurs, it can catch each of us by surprise emotionally, physically, and financially. We want to help those people get on the road to recovery as soon as possible. Sometimes the support needed is simply a shoulder to cry on, while other times it might be physical help to rebuild what was lost. By bringing attention to these needs, we hope to give residents the information they need to rally around the cause and give whatever help they can.
Over the years all of us have seen many of these devastating situations transpire, and we have seen the out pouring of help from the surrounding communities. Benefit dinners, raffles, and auctions have been held to raise money for various causes. We've seen donation jars set out at local businesses, and we have seen people donate their time and labor to help others rebuild.
